Take 3: Red, Orange, and Yellow Summer

July 20, 2011

What a WHIRLWIND this past week has been. I am so physically and emotionally drained. It was so difficult to say goodbyes, and pack up our life. I am so happy to have arrived to GA safely though with my little family. That is all that matters. However, my husband and I swear we will never move again!… even though its bound to happen since we are renting a home, until we decide where we want to settle. I was seriously tempted to leave everything I own behind and live a simpler life. I have resolved to do so in some ways! 🙂
I have so much of you all to catch up with! I will be back in full swing soon, but for now, enjoy this summer post! <3

  • I love your blog!!

  • Striking photos! Such pretty color.

Congrats on the move!! We are in the same boat, except we’re having to stay at my in-laws because our closing has gone awry so many times. We’re DEFINITELY never moving again. Ugh!

  • glad you made it safe and sound!! good luck with unpacking and getting settled 🙂

  • So great you made it Anna! Although i know it takes some time, until everything finds it’s place again. Do take a little rest if you can, am sending all the best for a lovely new time in the new home! xx

  • So glad to hear you’re finally in GA! I’m sure it was bittersweet leaving the fam and friends. I’ve moved over 12 times and know that it’s exhausting to move just my stuff. I can’t imagine moving a whole house! Sometimes it does make you want to leave all of belongings behind and start clean! I totally understand that!

  • So glad the move went well! It’s always hard saying goodbyes, and moving can be such a headache Even when you live in a tiny apartment, while moving you realize how much STUFF you have every where. It’s amazing! I left so many things behind that just weren’t worth moving. Good luck with the simpler life.

  • So glad you made it safe! 😀

When I’m working on decluttering, I pretend I’m moving. Helps to put in perspective what truly is important.

  • Happy you’re nearly settled! I thought about you the other day when my Husband was talking about moving out of state. I’d be sad to leave family, but I thought “well Anna did it and didn’t bat an eye” 😉

  • Love the colours! The yellow photo melts my heart!

Hope you don’t have trouble getting settled! Moving can be so tough!

  • I moved into an apartment early this year, and I’m going to moving again this month (for school)…so I know how you feel. Well, sort of – I imagine it would be harder with kids. Hope you and your family settle in quickly.
O, and thanks for featuring my pic 🙂

  • First love the last photo! Congrats on the big move though bittersweet!

  • Glad it went well! 🙂 I’m hungry for some fruit now~!

  • Such a pretty post 🙂 I am glad to hear that you all made it safely. Just think of your “goodbyes” as “see you laters”. Distance does make it challenging and it won’t be the same but the people who are important to you will always be there 🙂 xoxoxo brynn

  • Anna i was SO happy to hear the move was a grand success! touch down cheers!!!!! the after effects of a move such as this pretty much leave me feeling the same way.
