Shop Scoop: The Home T

Home Tee the-home-tee

You can get a feel for what Gabe’s intimidation face looked like when he coached Rugby, huh? I successfully bribed him with getting behind the camera. How you might ask? By showing him his this beloved Wisconsin state shirt from The Home T. Milwaukee born and raised, this boy has a long standing loyalty to Brewers baseball, blue collar work ethic, Green Bay Packers, and the good food…cheese.

As soon as I am no longer basketballing it up (aka birth this baby), I am going to get another one of these tees for me. They are softer than the softest tee I own. Not exaggerating. Just not sure what state I would choose…. born in KY, raised in OH, and settling in GA. What about you friends? What state do you call home?

This shop has every state available for both men and women, and what is really cool is that they donate a portion of all profits to multiple sclerosis research. Worthy of note and a worthy cause.

P.S. So thankful to each and every one of you who have helped us celebrate the new site! Your messages, tweets, emails, etc. do not go unnoticed. Much love!

  • So cute!! I saw that tee on Pinterest a while back and I have the same dilemma as you- not sure which state to get. Glad to know they are super soft!

  • Thanks a ton for sharing our little T with your readers. And when it comes to deciding on a state, you don’t necessarily have to just pick one.

By the way, tell Gabe we said thanks for being a trooper!

  • What a sport he is 🙂 LOVE these shirts. Ill have to check them out 🙂

  • those look fantastic! i think i would pick california. that’s where we are now and i have no intentions of ever going back to ohio so that’s probably not the best choice 😉

    • Bri, as much as I love Ohio the south as spoiled me so I won’t be going back either! 😉

      • i just can’t justify giving up seeing the ocean every morning 🙂 so spoiled here.

Love this t-shirt! Though I spent 6 yrs of my formidable years in Pennsylvania, I am a born & raised Californian… so I would totally have to represent my wine country and SF Bay Area! My hubby, however, will be getting a Louisiana tee for his Cajun self! 🙂 I’m thinking for Christmas…
Thanks for introducing me to their shop!

    • Love that you both are from two very different states! Have yet to visit Louisiana!

      • Marchelle

I’ve only been to the New Orleans area a couple of times (it truly reminds me of Paris), and Lafayette/Carencro once to visit my husband’s family! I LOVED it and would move there in a heartbeat… although, I’m far more afraid of hurricanes than earthquakes. Guess it’s all about what you’re accustomed to! Funny enough, we currently reside in the Phoenix desert, missing a shoreline.

  • What a great idea- love them!

  • Anna, these are AMAZING! I just ordered one for myself (gotta rep the Cali pride while living in Europe!) and for my little brother who is graduating from college. He may move states for work but think this is a perfect gift, he’ll always remember where home is 🙂

PS – Absolutely loving your new site. Congrats my friend! xoxo

  • COOL shirt! I like it that you incorporate your husband into your posts sometimes! My hubby runs from my camera! I need to find a way to make him WANT to appear on my blog!

  • I want one of these tees so badly but can never find the one for my home state, North Carolina? I have left a message and sent an email from the company’s site to no avail. Can a sister get some help here?

    • Oh no! How odd! They are usually pretty good about responding so hope you hear back soon! They are too cool to miss out on NC! 🙂

  • New Mexico! From age 5-18, and extended visits since, I call that desert home:) LOVE these shirts, this is the second time I’ve come across them. Maybe I won’t wait until the third to buy.

  • I’ve been seeing these tee’s all over!
    I want an NY one!

  • Texas baby! My husband was born and raised here, and I have lived her for 30 years. I love where I am from and will always call it home.

  • Love these t-shirts! I moved around a lot too {born in Indiana, grew up in Milwaukee, went to HS in Atlanta, spent my college years + four more in cincinnati, and now I am in California}. I always choose Ohio, it just feels the most like home to me. Also, it’s fun how many of the cities we have both lived in overlap :).

  • I love this, but I don’t know which state to pick- I’m from NY, moved to and settling in IA. I may get an OH one for my husband though. 🙂

Love the new site, Anna! I just made the switch to WordPress, too!
