Indoor Movie Night with Sprout

February 17, 2017

We have been itching for ways to keep us all from getting cabin fever since we got hit with bad colds! We always do “family movie night” with the kids on Fridays, but last week we stepped up our game a little bit. We did a premiere party with an indoor movie night. Thanks to Sprout for teaming up with us and sending over some fun gear to celebrate the season premiere of Ruff-Ruff, Tweet, and Dave. This is a show that Max begs for now. It immediately captivated my little ones with the endearing characters as well as the adventure and learning aspects.

Gabe and I grew up watching Saturday morning cartoons with our family, but I have been disenchanted lately with the options lately. So I was very happy to hear that Ruff-Ruff, Tweet, and Dave will run on Saturday mornings after the new season premiere! It’s a relief to know I can trust that the show is a healthy and engaging option for my little ones. We are really picky about what they watch, so it always merits a high-five when we find one that we all approve of.

We pulled out our movie projector last Friday, gathered all of our blankets and pillows, and set up a little drink, treat, and activity station to make family movie night a little party.

Sprout is a 24-hour preschool TV network so we can look it up anytime and connect for family movie night as well. Some of my kids’ favorites are also Terrific Trucks and Nina’s World. We will probably utilize the Sprout app on our trip this weekend as well! You can catch the new season premiere of Ruff-Ruff, Tweet, and Dave February 18th, from 12pm-1pm EST, and 8am every Saturday after on Sprout.

Have you all tried Sprout? Also, I’d love to hear any family friendly shows and movies you all have been enjoying!
*Thank you to Sprout for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own.

  • Rocking the baby to sleep and trying to find good family friendly movie for our older kids that we’d all enjoy. But we may settle for a quick cartoon and some popcorn. Love your popcorn container!!

  • Sprout is such a GREAT network with kids. The kids always enjoy the Chica Show. Family movie night as a kid with lots of blankets and popcorn always make me smile. I really love that vintage chalkboard easel.

Finding great shows for kids is a challenge so I appreciate your recommendations! Our current fave is “Sarah & Duck” on Netflix. Great for preschoolers! Thanks for your wonderful, uplifting blog! ☺️
