Being a blog designing enthusiast (all the way from the PHILIPPINES) I am going to use the money to buy important web designing tools material so that I can step up my “blog designing” career.
Oh my. I’m not even sure. There are so many things. I would probably take my husband hang gliding. He has this PASSIONATE dream of flying through the sky… and I feel like I need to make this dream of his come true! He does such a good job of making mine come true 🙂 XO
If I were to win the $1,000 visa, I would use to go towards my husband and my overdue honeymoon. It would be so awesome to help us be able and go on the trip vacation with just the two of us!
I’m starting an important internship that could lead to a fellowship that could lead to a full-time job (in social work). Unfortunately, my entire wardrobe consists of jeans and old sweaters. $1000 would go a long way to update my closet for a more professional look.

We would use the $1000 for fixing up our house, painting, storage, etc. Another more fun project that we would like to do this summer is build a new bed frame following directions from Ana White. While a lot less expensive than the similar pottery barn bed, we still have to get all the materials and tools.
Hi there! I’d totally be selfish and buy a new pair of winter/rainboots (mine don’t keep out the water anymore) but after that, the money would totally go toward glaming up our apartment. Paint, shelving, fancy organizational boxes, gotta have it!
I have two friends who just found out they were pregnant, both on accident; one of them had twins just a year ago, and one found out cause she was in for her Thyroid cancer check-up (her cancer is back on top of being pregnant)!!! So I would definatly put some of this mula towards some awesome/needed baby presents for the both of them….crazy times!
Oh, the options!! I’d probably get a loveseat or a classic wooden rocking chair for extra seating, and then buy a HUGE rug or two since the floor of my apartment is freezing.
I already follow you on bloglovin. I would put this gift to good use as a funds are really low–buy my girls some new jeans and my college son needs jeans too. Stock up my pantry and freezer. My splurge would be to take the family out to dinner and buy some crafting supplies. Also would be great as my middle child is graduating and will need dorm essentials. This really would be a blessing for my family. Thanks!
I would spend it on my husband and kids first, then myself after. Husband’s birthday coming up, and I want to get him a bike and a child seat, so he can take our girls out. Then I would buy clothes for my girls. Lastly, for myself I want to get a new diaper bag that would fit my cloth diapers.
My boyfriend and I are moving in September–hopefully into a bigger 1 bedroom. Our studio space just isn’t cutting it. I would spend the gift card on decorating our new space. Last September, he moved into “my” place and I feel like it never really felt like he co-owned it with me. I want our next place to feel like ours.
I would definitely spend it on my baby-to-be! With two weeks until my due date, I’ve obviously got some big baby related expenses coming up and I’d love to be able to spend a little more on some books and fun things to spoil my little one!
I will use it to open an esty shop or pay for my Certified Public Accounted (CPA) exmination. I’m turning 25 this April 2 is my birthday. When I finished high school I started nannying for the family that I loved dearly for 4 years so I can pay my college tuition. I graduated last year 2012 with an associate degree in Accounting. I want to take the CPA test or do sometime better for myself and my daughter. It will be so wonderful to have once have birthday wish fulfilled!
Deciding how to spend the $1000 is tough for me! I’ve been thinking about getting a nice DSLR camera lately, so that might be it. Or, you know, I could buy lots of books with that much money! 🙂 Or even buy some for the literacy center where I volunteer! Everyone should have access to books!
Hmm…$1000…so many things to do! I would put part of it towards my trip to Haiti this summer, use part of it to buy curtains for my apartment, and probably buy painting and crafting supplies with the rest!
I would love to re-do my living room and/or bedroom!! I’ve had the same furniture in each of those rooms for quite a while and have been dying for a change!
It would so go towards our 4th wedding anniversary/family vacation this summer! It’s our last summer that my husband has any time off before clinicals and residency and full time doctor begins.
