Hi Mary! I should write more about this because it definitely has helped tremendously around here! My kids are just like any other kids and ask for sweets every time they see it! If we don't have it in the house they haven't seemed to think about it or ask for it as much. I probably have the hardest time because I always want chocolate after dinner;) We only do water and milk, avoid any processed sugars, high fructose corn syrup, and processed foods. These all break down the immune system. Finding recipes is tricky because sometimes pasta is way easier than a healthy meal. I am finding more options though. Will work on a post sharing more meal ideas!

Sure! We actually cut out most refined sugar after reading the effects of it. I knew this, but wasn't being very disciplined about it! After reading sugar lowers your immune system for 5 hours after it's consumed, I was like aiiighht! Of course doughnuts and pies make there way in every once in a while, but for the most part it isn't in our pantry. I also give them OnGuard beadlets as an immune builder from DoTerra as well as rubbing in an immune blend on their feet if they complain of cold symptoms. I love the diffuser as well for onGuard and lavender:) Have you heard of elderberry syrup or manukah honey? Also fantastic for preventative and fighting early signs of flu!
