Hi Samantha! Great q – definitely depends on the model. We got the same set for both the girls and boys and the boys bunk ended up being a more shallow height and we always bumped our heads while the girls was just enough where you could sit to read a book. They look the exact same so I would check to see if the bunk listing has measurements for the legs to guesstimate.

I am in the market for bunk beds for my daughters room and am concerned about the clearance from top to bottom bunk so we can comfortable sit on the bottom. Can adults sit on the bottom bunk in this bed that you have? Would you be willing to give share measurements from bottom to top bunk? Hi Siena! I actually only had one single bed in here before we re-did the room. Azelie wasn’t sleeping in a bed yet when we started working on it. Since it was a smaller room there wasn’t space for two beds so loved the way the bunks worked out!
