Pumpkin chocolate chip recipe

1) Holidays tend to get pretty full with 6 kids with all of the school festivities and family traditions we try to make happen. With a new baby I am just trying to keep it simple for Halloween, but wow the costumes! So many pieces, so little time. Veronica requested to make our yearly batch of Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies so wanted to re-share this recipe favorite I posted a long time ago!

My mom used to make our costumes. How about that nun?! That’s me in the flower girl dress as a princess. It’s ironic that this is exactly what Azelie wants to be this year.

2) We are hosting a small family halloween party with my brothers and sisters this weekend where everyone has to dress up as a movie or tv character! Gabe and I tend to reach for humor first, so we have a funny one we are going to try to pull off. Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper from the Grammy’s was a close second.

3) Currently debating an affordable duvet cover for the guest bedroom. It’s one of the final details so I have narrowed it down to this one or this one. Which do you think fits the space?

4) I found some airbud knockoffs I have been loving for when I am in the car. I recently binge listened to this podcast on Audrey Hepburn’s life. I haven’t tried apple’s, but these seem good enough to me!

(Wearing some of the fall capsule pieces mentioned below)

5) I love to approach clothing in capsules now as it curbs spending and excess, so I got out last years clothes, and took note of what I already had. Since I am in post baby sizes right now I bought a few things that I feel comfortable in right now as I am welcoming the skin I am in.A few every tops I found were this soft wrap top, easy striped tee, and tie front button up shirt. I also grabbed a few things at J.Crew with some product credit I had. Loved these boots + super cozy sweater. Tip: Never buy anything from J.Crew full price since they frequently run sales. Of course, had to add a good hat for hiding hair days.

Thank you all for your patience as we navigate back into more consistent blogging. We are keeping it to a few times a week as we start some other business ventures, and will be sharing more behind the scenes on life and family on instagram stories! Happy October weekend:)

  • Those falltime pictures are lovely, and those cookies look delicious! We just finished off a batch of pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, and I may have to try those cookies next time I get a pumpkin-baking urge 🙂 I hope you all have a happy Hallowtide!
