I gave LOFT a try over the break and fell in love….My sister Tricia works here, so she hooked me up with some fabulous deals:) These are just a few of the looks I am loving…
I am excited to tell you about todays Artist. Amy is a friend of mine from college. We were in the same art program in GA. She was specializing in Photography, and I was Art Studio. So we had several classes together:) Her work is absolutely breathtaking. She lives with the camera on her hip! She does everything from Documentation to Weddings. My personal favorites however is her Night Photography, where she works with colored lights. Check out her website for more! ( I could hardly pick which ones to post!)
So I decided to do a little switch between Tuesday and Thursday’s topics:)
Wanted to share something fun and exciting!
Diana and Gabbi came up with the fabulous idea of a book club! And as you already know this was one of my resolutions for the new year! So I am all onboard. I am a bookworm at heart and just don’t make the time for it so I know this will keep me focused. The book club is entitled, “Slow Readers” based off of the Slow Movement , “a cultural shift toward slowing down life’s pace.”
Great thing is, ANYONE can participate! AND you have TWO MONTHS to finish reading the book! The first book chosen is Half Broke Horses. The synopsis totally drew me in. You can check it out at your local library, buy it on amazon at a discount, or support Better World Books!
~If you are looking for some good reads, and would like to be a part of this exciting venture please email me or leave a comment with your email address to be put on the mailing list! If you have a blog, grab a button from here, and link it to the blog post you write about Slow Readers Book Club.
~Here are a few fabulous people already on board!:
So I have been much enjoying my family time and will resume regular blogging next week. Until then, here is my small blog make-over for organized blogging in 2010!
I hope I am covering all topics you love! Would love to hear your feedback!
Today my family is leaving for St. Louis for the Christmas Holidays. I couldn’t be more excited to see my incredible mom, dad, brothers, and sisters. This is one of the only times of the year we can all be together. So I am taking a much needed break from my etsy shop, and soaking up some family time. Will try and share a few posts with you while I am there if I can get away from all the food, laughter, games, celebrations, etc. 🙂
I will leave you with a few perfect gifts I am bringing along that I found thanks to the Handmade Holiday Pledge:)
