I love this! I really need to learn how to use my DSLR better.
Great post! I want a new camera, but haven’t stopped to do any research or find what I want. Maybe I will find time for it to be an end-of-summer present to myself. 😉
I love this! I have a camera that I don’t know quite how to work – this visual is a great reminder!
This is so super helpful as I am a camera noob….these images are genius!
This reminds me of my dismal photography skills )c: I think I need to get my booty *back* to college to take some much needed courses! (c:

I took photog classes in college and retained nothing! Except the rule of thirds. That’s it. I am trying to tackle aperture and shutter speed but it’s hard to find time these days. : )

What great tips!
Great tip to know! If only I had such a high tech camera! I took a class in college too that briefly went over camera functions, lighting and aperture..when I can make the purchase I’ll definitely check this out!!

this is perfect. I recently started using a DSLR and right now I’m just using it on it’s automatic setting. My goal within the next year is to learn it on manual though and little lessons like this are extremely helpful!
oh that’s an awesome lesson Anna, my eyes were doing the same thing as the lens while i scrolled down. it’s those “oh ya, i getcha” moments – nice one!
Sean is trying to teach me camera settings, he’s such a master of it thankfully but any added instruction is a blessing. gonna check this out. cheers! ♥
