Pretty little fancies.
those are adorable! So cute for your students.
We celebrated too! My boys each got a little Playmobil St. Nick like this: http://www.amazon.com/Playmobil-5875-Santa-Blister/dp/B0045JHOYC/ref=sr_1_5?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1323266916&sr=1-5 and some chocolate coins! They were big hits! Isn’t this part of being a momma so fun?
i love simple and sweet traditions. I would love to start a new one with my family. since my daughter is only 1, now would be a perfect time to start. This reminds me, i’ve been meaning to start a collection of washi tape 🙂
I have always loved this tradition! And what an adorable + easy gift idea.
Adorable!

We celebrate…my mom puts all kinds of goodies in there – initially for us (now for the grandkids), definitely going to keep the tradition going. I love the chevron bags with the gold…so pretty!
ooooo Anna, this is so cute!! Love the idea. Maybe when I have kids I can do this. I don’t see it being that exciting with just me & husband. haha
Agree with everyone – everything you do is adorable!

I’ve never heard of this tradition! How special. And yes, the “mystery” bags are always the best, esp. when wrapped up in such cute patterns!
These bags are perfect for all kinds of treats, I’m thinking of party giveaways 😉 What a great find and such a good idea – I would have loved getting something like this at school!

I love that you celebrate St. Nicholas day! I’m planning to talk to my students about St. Nicolas this week too, because many people in France celebrate that day as well. And what cute goody bags!

Very sweet. We don’t celebrate but I remember my daughter saying her friend’s family did this when they were little. Chocolate coins are good at any age! xo

A simple but very thoughtful idea! I love it! Washi tape makes everything cuter!
I love new traditions – I’m going to pop this one in the notebook for next year (and many years after that).
