Home for the Holidays.

December 29, 2015

It was a really, really good Christmas this year. Maybe because the weeks leading up to it I was learning a few lessons. I felt so overwhelmed with gratitude.

christmas{the best kind of chaos}

My big family waits all year long for time together. We come from near and far to all walk through the same door at Christmastime.
Each year I feel it a little deeper. I value this over everything else.

I wish I could bottle some of the happiness that came during these days to pull out during the tough ones. This may be our last christmas all under one roof so I paused a little more to take note of how lucky I was to have the chance to experience this.

We hope you had a blessed Christmas!

    Anna, Where does everyone stay when they come for Christmas? It’s wonderful you all manage to get together. Little Women is my 17 year-old daughter’s favorite book and she wanted a copy for Christmas. I found a vintage book with an inscription from 1938 in great condition. She loved it. I love all the photos. Rocco did a great job as baby Jesus. Happy New Year from my house to yours! Pat S

  • This looks like the most beautiful holiday celebration. I love that your family puts on a Christmas program, how fun! It looks like you had a blast. Happy New Year to you and your family!

  • All those photos make me nostalgic. Such a lovely Holiday Season! Can’t wait to have that many kids around again. We’re all grown up and I’m the first to have children. It’s all about the kids!
