This is a company that peaked my interest on the design/brand side of things at first, but then I fell for the construction and quality of their pieces. Sézane is a French based company that has recently opened it’s first flagship in the U.S. I would make a trip to NYC just to have a bagel…or wait probably croquette in this store.

As you know, I’ve been focusing on fewer pieces of clothing for the different seasons, and looking more at how items will work together in my closet. These are a few items I have already used several times, and have a feeling they will continue to be key players throughout the season. This embroidered blouse works really well with denim, but can be paired with a skirt for fancier occasions.
Granted, I always fall for the amazon or Target prices, but if possible, I like to support smaller companies when I can, knowing the pieces will last much longer than a few washes. (This Romane sweater is incredibly thick and cozy!) I have fully embraced the casual life as a mother to little ones, but I really appreciate when pieces can make you feel a little more feminine, a little more confident, and a little more like you got dressed that day;)
Items gifted by Sézane. After wearing these pieces and having a closer look, I was so impressed I decided to feature them here on IHOD. These are my honest opinions.
