I live in rural OH now… there is no dressing up here;) So of course I was going to pack only fun dresses with zero waistlines only for this trip to France! I will always and forever feel my best in a dress…pregnant or not. I wanted to fit in one suitcase though so I kept it simple with one sweater, dresses, and a few pairs of comfortable shoes and sandals for walking. Today I wanted to share a round up of everything I packed in my suitcase, and all of the reader recommended travel essentials I put to use!
This was my travel outfit. I knew I needed something really comfortable for a full day of travel. I wore the only sweater I packed, along with these sandals. No regrets!
This satin dress from Mango is one of my favorite colors. It isn’t maternity, and sadly already sold out! However I did find this similar color and satin style dress.

I have found a few really good staples at Quince in the past year, so Gabe decided to give them a try as well. The fit and style were just what he was looking for, and I have to say this is now my favorite combo of his! I wore this dress a few days while we were there because it was so comfortable and also went well with sneakers!
A non-maternity dress that still fit well and was comfortable to wear for a full day! I love that I will be able to wear this next summer too.
Sézane kindly gifted me this comfortable dress! I will always save my pennies for any Sezane dress over 10 cheaply made ones! I have had a few for years. Everything from Sézane is well made (a certified B corp organization), timeless, and the pieces I always end up being the ones I go back to season after season. This knit dress isn’t maternity, but it is stretchy and forgiving. I know I will be able to wear it post baby as well.

I wasn’t super excited about finding maternity bathing suits, but I found Summer Mae shop and was surprised how well they fit! I ordered this black two piece and this one piece. This knit coverup dress is also versatile and is bump friendly!
I also asked for your top recs for traveling abroad, and these were among your favorites! I also included a few things I use and always bring with me traveling!
- Packing cubes
- Ear plugs
- Travel toiletry bottles
- LMNT electrolyte packets
- Triple battery charger
- Makeup remover wipes (I also had sanitization wipes on hand)
- Hair tools case
- Packable neck pillow
- First aid kit
- Sleep mask
- Travel umbrella
- Airtags
- Reusable bags
- Carry on suitcase
- Toiletry divider bag
- Jet lag eye mask
- Divi shampoo
- Kopari sunscreen
- Lip mask
- Collagen eye gels
I can honestly say I used most of these items while traveling and was really grateful to have them on hand! We just purchased bottled water as we went, and the area we were in was safe to drink the tap water. However you could also pack a filtered water bottle! I also brought activated charcoal pills just in case for any unexpected food reactions. If you are pregnant, highly recommend compression tights for the long flights. There are supermarkets and pharmacies in most regions with everything you need should you forget anything:)
