We are kicking off our annual Holiday gift guides with gift ideas for kids, toddlers, and babies! We narrowed down the gifts we have actually given our children that were a hit! We also included some new to us finds that are worthy of note. Grab a hot mug of your favorite drink and enjoy:)
- Kitchen Play Set – I scored a great set on FB marketplace a few years ago and it has been used many many hours by my little ones. I think they are great for imaginative play for both boys and girls, and I love this version! Currently 20% off.
- Cinderella Gown – One of the most realistic I have seen! Chiara got one for her birthday, and she is currently trouncing through the house in it. A common daily occurance.
- Tulle cape – Dress ups are requested for every birthday and Christmas, and I find they get some of the most use of any toys:)
- Kids bike with basket – We got this for Chiara for her brithday (she is 5 yrs.), and it is well made! There are several color options as well.
- Electric Scooter – We scored this second hand for Azelie, and she has loved zipping to school and back with this! The brakes were easy to learn, and the balance is great thanks to the wider back. It does require battery charging!
- Canvas tent – My girls love play tents, and this one is made of more quality materials like wood and canvas.
- Kids Headphones – Comfortable option my kids use – There are lots of fun colors.
- Yoto Player – Used and loved weekly! There is a yoto radio station my kids love for the daily quiz. Yu can also download free books and music on the yoto card it comes with!
- Anne of Green Gables Yoto Card – A few other favorite yoto cards include Mary Poppins, Ladybird lullabies, and Classical album
- Baby Doll Stroller – We have had a few doll strollers that didn’t stand the test of time. This one we gave to Chiara last Christmas and it sturdy and well made!
- Backpack sleeping bag – Was hunting for a good one, and I love this pattern as well as the backpack option.
- Ice Cream Counter – My kids played with this for hours a day when we were visiting my parents, so it went on this year’s Christmas wishlist!
- Karaoke machine – I think kids of all ages love these – we have one that is used when cousins come over or sister dance parties.
- Mini baby carriers – Since we have a new baby in the house, my girls have wanted to use their mini baby carriers. Always an entertaining sight! They use them for their baby dolls or animals.
- Art table – This requires some assembly, but it has been the perfect setup to put in Gus’ room. Three of my kids currently use it regularly! You can buy extra rolls of paper if needed.
- 4K Digital Video Camera – My boys love to film trick shots and have been wanting a video camera. This one has great reviews, and looks like it offers good quality video for the price. (Use the $20 off coupon in addition to the sale price!)
- Military Smart Watch – This was the request of my 11 yr old for this birthday this year and he still wears it daily. He mainly uses it to track steps, set an alarm, etc. but it is bluetooth compatible for music, tracking sleep, making calls or sending texts. We like that there is no access to apps or social media, but has some great benefits like a fitbit.
- Topps Baseball Cards – These have been a part of birthdays and holidays the last few years and always the cause of excitement if you have any baseball lovers! It’s like buying a wonka bar – you never know if you are going to get a golden ticket or not. (Aka any valuable trading cards)
- Diecast Excavator – Gus got the dump truck and backhoe loader last year for Christmas last year and played with them all year long in our backyard dirt or sand. He also uses them indoors so we will be getting him another one of these! The boy knows his construction trucks, and I am just tryna keep up!
- Electric Powered Racecar Track – This was a huge hit with my boys Max and Rocco (ages 9 and 11 yrs) last Christmas, and they still set it up and use it in their room. It is really well made and fun to operate.
- Bow and Arrow Set and Target – This was another big hit my boys used all summer. We put the target on one our backyard trees and they had fun competing for longest shot;) Oh the amusing things I am witnessing as a mother of energetic boys.
- Yoto Player – This makes the kids’ gift guide every year because it remains a favorite around here! I love how you can use it with or without headphones. It is such a great option for travel too.
- Brain Bots – My boys loved this yoto card – full of fun facts. You can also download free audiobooks and music on the yoto card it comes with.
- Headphones – These are yoto player compatible, and ones that my kids have used that are comfortable with good sound quality.
- Truck tool box – We got this ffor Gus last Christmas and he loved that the tools were real (no fooling this kid!), and that he could tote it around like a real toolbox. Great price for what it includes!
- Owala watter bottle – These have been my favorite watter bottles for the kids, and it makes for a great gift they can use every day!
- Lord of the Rings Monopoly – This has a few fun twists, and has been the most played game of the year at our house!
- Snap Circuits Coding Robot – Max and Rocco have been taking robotics at our library, and they love being challenged. Excited to give this one to Max. There are 5 different models you can make. (Currently 50% off!)
- Tabletop easel – Was surprised how much Max used this gift. Portable table top easels make it fun to get out the paints or drawing pencils. They love the how to draw videos on youtube:)
- Drawing pencil set – This is one of my favorite brands. A really good set for learning shading techniques.
- MagnaTiles Construction Set – I have been eyeing this for Gus as an addition to our magnaTiles that he uses so often.
- Christmas Train – We have been wanting to add an electric train around the tree so we set this up on Christmas Eve last year and it was so fun to see the kids’ response. We will be putting up again soon! It’s a Harry Potter train but looks very much like a Christmas train! There are different speeds you can use with the remote, and control how it stops and goes.
