Gabe here! This year I am passing along some of my top recs, and a few things on my own wishlist this year. (Hoping Anna reads this.) Hope this helps your hunt for a gift that will bring an elated smile and nod from the pop, husband, brother, or friend!
- T2 Werkpant – for “werking” of course. Very durable, flexible, and well designed AMAZING work pant. These bad boys are very high on my wish list (Hence #1 on this list… Take note Anna).
- Tool check plus – Wera is a top notch brand of driving and ratcheting tools. This compact package fits tightly in any toolbox, junk drawer, and glove compartment making it perfect for any mechanic, Mr. Fixit, or dad constantly searching for a screwdriver (especially of an odd shape) (Cough… Cough… Anna look here!)
- Fire Starter Survival Tool – German made flint fire starters are just plain fun. They are like the adult version of a boys magnifying glass on a hot summer day. BURN BABY BURN!
- Grill baskets – These cylindrical grill baskets have revolutionized grilling small items, no more peppers and onions falling through the grate to die a fiery death.
- Lord of the Rings collector edition – This is my favorite work of fiction, and each of my children receive (will receive) a copy of this edition. With oversized maps and color sketches from Tolken himself scattered throughout the work, it is a must for any bookshelf.
- Boot dryer – Dries boots, shoes, gloves, mittens, socks, and whatever else you can think of. Its great for any man slogging though a Northern winter or wet climate. (And for kids post snowstorm)
- Kasa smart plugs – Turns any plug in device or light into a smart device controlled by a phone or voice. Set timers or schedules to control almost anything you can think of…
- Portable triple charger – We used this while traveling abroad and it really came in handy for charging a few things at one time!
- Heavyweight button down – This is a winter staple of mine! Super soft and comfortable, yet very durable and warm, but much sharper looking than a flannel.
- Moosehide moccasin slippers – For nearly 20 years, I have not had a winter without a pair of these to help me through the cold. They are indispensable to my life, and they are made of moose…moosen…meesen.
- Hexclad Knife Set – Made of Japanese Damascus steel, and holds an amazing edge, any kitchen hero will love these blades.
- End Grain Butcherblock – Any kitchen man appreciates butcher block, its an undeniable fact.
- Travel Gear Tech Bag – Great for techies, students, and travelers to keep the devices and especially cords organized.
- Retro Bluetooth radio – A great little radio/bluetooth speaker with amazing sound quality and makes a rather fashionable addition to a bookshelf or work bench.
- Wool Blanket – I can’t stand small blankets, and it seems like every blanket in my house is too stinking small! Not this bad boy. Its oversized, super warm, and comfortable. Its a man’s blanket.
