I saw the first pieces in Lonny Mag and knew I must see the rest. The printed look, the modern and classic typeface, and the fresh and rustic textiles runs through each piece. I picked up a few of these for wedding gifts. View the full collection at Target. (Some pieces are online exclusives.)

How about you? Hope your weekend was splendid!
P.S….if you really want to throw someone off, pronounce the word sorbet with a heavy t (Soar-beT). Sometimes its just fun to mess with words and get reactions;)
The True Beauty Files:
A lookbook for the modern modeste.
“The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.”

This is what I am dying to do this weekend. I arrived to Friday with my head spinning. Nothing a little sunshine can’t fix;) Wishing you all some good weather and a fun weekend ahead!
This brilliant DIY was submitted by my lovely sister Jana. She found a gold watch with interchangeable bands at Aldo, but wasn’t crazy about the bands. So here is what we came up with..
I have loved seeing all these fun elastic wrist bands being sold everywhere, so why not work them into watch bands? You can also do this with any trim you choose. I used one of my favorite braided trim headbands that had gotten stretched out, and turned it into the wristband below.
P.S. So sorry for being a terrible blog friend lately. My inbox needs a manager;) Just trying to get through the next week! And btw, Don’t gorget to check out the amazing 2000 FB fans giveaway!
I am in the middle of designing some brand pieces for clients, so viewing these issues was such a nice break and inspiration uplift for my creative heart. Hope you enjoy!
P.S. Our lucky giveaway winners from the deloom.com shopping spree are #640 Annie and #1605 Stephanie Nelson! Thanks to all who entered!
Mothers Day weekend was a rainy one, so our plans shifted to family time indoors. Did you get some time with your family? I was missing my mother, but felt so blessed to celebrate the day with my little ones. Little Gabriel helped make me a breakfast of “special pancakes.” So precious. Gabe and I did get to have a night out at the symphony with some great company. If you visit Atlanta, you also must check out the Marietta Diner(featured on Food Network). The food is killer!
So as I told you in Friday’s post, I went Auburn over the weekend. It was a mousse dye which clings to your natural color, and nothing too drastic occurred (thank heavens). I actually love the results. Very close to my natural color, just with an auburn hue. Maybe I will go a little more bold next week;)
P.S. IHOD reached 2,000 facebook friends, so head over to check out today’s celebration giveaway! You won’t want to miss! Also, its the last day to enter the Deloom shopping spree giveaway!
