Is it just me, or does baby gear just keep getting better each year? We have used the same pack n’ play for all three children, and it did just fine! However, when I opened this Fisher Price Day & Night play yard, I decided it was time for a trade in. This was just what I needed for our current stage with Rocco. We don’t currently have a room for him so he has been in ours since he was born! He outgrew his bassinet, and there is no room for a full sized crib next to my bed. Needless to say I was extremely happy to find a compact play yard that is also spacious and practical. It has the sleep/play area with padded mat, as well as a detachable inclined sleeper for my lazy lounger. He loves to keep mom in eyes view, but I can no longer leave him on the bed since he rolls around.
I bring this with us for travel as well because it is super light and easy to collapse. Since we travel pretty frequently the portability is a major perk as it is only 15 pounds, and folds up pretty small. It has a carry pocket attached on the side for storage as well as a removable changing station for diaper time. The other day, Rocco spent a good hour sitting up in the play yard with a few toys, babbling up a storm while I was trying to get ready for an event. I’d say he likes his new dwelling place. This play yard is available for purchase here.
