I have been focusing a good deal on simplicity this year and so my packing habits have lightened up as well:) I thought it might be helpful to share how I packed for a 5 day trip. I knew we would be pretty active with varying activities so I used items I knew I could wear more than once. This list doesn’t include my workout wear, toiletries, or bathing suits so give or take….
^^ These items….^^
^And a few ways I wore them^^
In my Bag (From Nena and Co.):
2 pairs of Denim shorts (for biking and exploring)
1 Tank
1 Tee
3 Dresses for dinner in the evenings (Dress One, Two, and Three)
2 Linen Shirts (Shirt one c/o and two)
2 Beach Coverups (One and Two)
Shoes:
2 pairs of comfortable sandals (Pair One and Two)
1 Pair of Flip Flops
1 Pair of Booties (probably could have done without)
Accessories:
5 Hats (excessive, but you know me – an accessories girl)
Sunglasses
2 Necklaces (Necklace One and Two c/o)
1 Bracelet Stack (Bracelet One and Two)
1 Tote c/o
I basically rotated these all 5 days and it worked out really well with no shortage on clothes by the end of the week. I have started to clean out my closet little by little on instagram and by donating to Whispering Hope. It feels freeing. Material goods can weigh you down (literally) and metaphorically. I hope to continue to move in the direction of living with less. Now granted, packing for my little ones is a whole different feat (tips for packing with kids here).
Will give you a tour around the city of Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach tomorrow!
