It snows about once a year in Georgia, but even then rarely sticks. I didn’t know quite how to explain to my little ones that their Christmas wish for snow wasn’t probably going to happen this year…
To our shock, dreams came true with a few inches of a “winter storm” that hit only parts of Atlanta, and if you could have heard the squeals and giggles on that 12th day of Christmas. We made the most of it, and spent the next morning gathering every layer we own. Snow pants, snow boots and sleds were sold out everywhere in stores around us, but before the snow hit, I managed to find a toboggan for 5 at a local antique store. Gabe hooked it up to the riding mower, and I am pretty sure sealed into their memory the best day of the year.
We hope you all are staying warm wherever you are!
