My children share a room (they have a little too much fun together!), and since we don’t have a basement I wanted to make their room a little world that could come alive to their imaginations. Since we rent our home, every single room was a drab neutral so we decided to paint the room white to brighten it up. We also wanted to encourage reading and art so we have a little window seat and art station for them.
To make it gender neutral, I just used a lot of bold colors with black and white. The ombre curtain (actually a shower curtain!) and pillows are from Target, the seat rug, kids table, rug, art hanging clips, and bookshelves are from Ikea Atlanta, and the Grow chart board is from an antique market. They both are crazy about animals so the giant canvas wall print from Anewall really tied everything together. The kids started shouting when they saw it up for the first time. They were so excited. I will be sure to share the rest of their room sometime soon!
Fun news – Anewall.com is generously giving one of these canvas prints to an IHOD reader! ($149 value!) Enter below through rafflecopter through next Tuesday the 13th! Best of luck!
