Happy Easter to all of you!
I have never been more thankful for hope.
We are often surrounded by brokenness, pain, and suffering in our world, but I also see so much good.
I am sometimes grow timid and doubtful thinking about raising my children in today’s state, but Easter always reminds me of the incredible HOPE there is in the Resurrection. God will always triumph over death, and “make all things new” (1 Peter:22). His boundless love and mercy washed away sin and opened up the hope of heaven…
I turn to hope knowing that there was victory over death through the cross, and that each person can have an Easter within them. A chance for new life and new beginnings, each and every day we choose to step forward in grace.
We did really simple baskets this year with Easter books, baby bunnies (or the next best thing to the real deal since miss V really wants a pet), bubbles, stickers, and a few treats. All the symbols of new life (like baby animals and easter eggs) are sweet reminders for little ones.
These are some pictures of our Easter in Nashville with SOME of my big wonderful family.
Much love!
Anna
