Shared Girls Room Plans

May 11, 2018

(via Lulu & Georgia)

I am starting to make some headway with for Veronica and Azelie’s room which I have been putting off since we moved in! I think I was waiting for that magic moment of finding just the right wallpaper I wanted to use. Well that moment happened when I saw this removable wallpaper mural from my friends at Anewall Decor. This is what ended up being the base of the whole room design.

Bunk Beds

My goal with this room is for it to be a place the girls love to hang out together. You know, tell stories on the bottom bunk, hide from their brothers underneath the bed, have tea parties with their American Girl dolls, etc. I would love for it to be a room that just encourages childhood! It is a very small room, so the lighter colors will open it up. The bunk beds will give a little more room for a desk + seating for a reading corner. Lulu & Georgia just came out with a kid’s line, and I am really digging the soft tones and comfortable options. They compliment the whimsical theme well.

I think I might tackle this paint job myself this weekend as well as the removable wallpaper mural. Although one wall in and I might be calling someone for help.

I have been slow at getting back into a posting routine so I appreciate your patience! Another post coming tomorrow:) Happy Friday!
