Front Porch Facelift

May 8, 2020

We really needed to give out front porch a face lift before listing it on the market, so we made a few changes! Swept, power washed, painted, and spruced to get a much more inviting hang spot.

(Why yes- that is a spit up stain on my pants.)

Pendant Lights (The clear cover is out of stock, but linked the same model)
Foldable Bistro Table
Outdoor Rug
Outdoor pillows
Rocking chairs (old, but similar here or here)
Planters
Shutter color – “Black” by Sherwin Williams
Tall flowering plant – Mandevilla

I found these rockers years ago on craigslist and never painted the back of them, so gave them a fresh coat of paint too. They look like new! We have already used this space every morning for coffee this week:)

In case you missed, here is why we are moving, and our hopeful timeline. We packed our first boxes which feels pretty difficult to process to be honest, but I know that is because we don’t have a place yet to look forward to as our next home. We are just focusing on one foot in front of the other right now. Looking forward to this weekend of rest and sun, even if it is just us at home! Happy Friday!

Beautiful! What a difference some paint and flowers can make!I’ve been on a roll painting old or faded things in our yard. Such an inexpensive way to spruce things up and gives a little way to get some creative energy out! Now more than ever our homes are our sanctuaries so a little TLC is good for the mind and soul! You guys are doing an amazing job and I know wherever you and your crew land you’ll put your own touch on it and make it just as beautiful with your own charm! Can’t wait to see the journey! 💖💖💖
