My Home “Office” + Dresser Mirror Round Up

February 17, 2022

My home “office” rotates rooms and atmospheres depending on the day, but more consistently it’s this corner of my room. Someday we may have a dedicated office space, but for now this cozy spot is a great place for me to write, design, and pound out emails when I need to.

It is a big mental shift no matter what I am doing in the day just to get dressed. I would always prefer sweats, but I notice such a difference in motivation level when I get out of them! It is the same when I sit at a desk vs. my couch. I am pretty sure Chiara thinks this is also her home office.

I made a few changes in this corner of our room like getting this Botanical Art Bundle up on the wall, as well as remove all of the junk lurking in the corner. The art Rocco made me is my favorite piece of course. I have been on the lookout for a good dresser mirror, and exhausted Facebook Marketplace. I finally found just the shape I was looking for from Lulu & Georgia called the Tulca Mirror. I loved the antique brass and detailing. It suits this dresser really well!

I am including a few others I loved and bookmarked in the process including some floor mirrors at different price points.

We found our dresser on facebook marketplace, and discovered later that the top section had secret drawers! They are shallow drawers that blend in above the larger drawers. It actually has been great for stashing gum. I found these jewelry organizers at TJMaxx, and it allowed me to totally de-clutter the top of my dresser. (These are some similar jewelry trays.) I hardly even wear much jewelry anymore, but it’s nice for special occasions.

We used pieces from our old home to put together our bedroom in this house. Sometimes that feels like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, but it worked out this time around after some trial and error. We are painting this room sometime this year, and I already have a color in mind. You know I love a good paint project, and I am looking forward to it already:)

What a lovely space you’ve created Anna! I am always so intrigued by furniture pieces that have hidden compartments, so yay for that FB market find. As someone that also has a love of mirrors I am sitting here swooning over that Lulu and Georgia mirror. Great choice!!

  • I love Your mirror, I was looking for something like this but with silver frame <3

  • Love Your mirror! I decided that for me frameless mirror with led would suit better but now i have my doubts ;p I looks soo classy and chic!
