Remember when I used to blog about style? That was a great creative outlet for a while, but truth be told…being in front of the camera makes me really uncomfortable so I don’t miss it! I also started to move towards more simple capsule wardrobes to avoid excess. My sister Gianna and I scoured the internet to find options you can mix and match to build your own fall capsule.

Jeans are hard. I would rather try before buying, but since I rarely have time to go to stores anymore I have plaid the buy/return card toooo many times. I realized Express denim are great for the price, but better for those of you blessed with long legs. Abercrombie offers Short, Regular, and Long lengths so I usually have better luck there. AG and Paige designer denim fit really well and are high quality, but I usually need to wear heals. Anyways, included a range of price points and styles here!

I finally learned that you get what you pay for when it comes to shoes. It is worth getting the leather pairs that outlast all the rest. (Boots are my weak spot.) I love the mid shaft length for my height, and the flat ankle boots are my go to for every day.
I actually like to do capsules for my kids as well. With a big family, it can be overwhelming to keep up with clothes so minimal is how I keep it under control. It seems easier for them as well to keep their drawers from becoming bomb explosions. Have you tried capsules? Natalie Borton is a great one to follow for ideas! Hope this post can save you time hunting for the right pieces this year!
