Dress (similar ) // Espadrilles
We are due with our new little one at the end of the summer. We are all anxious to meet him or her already. I have been extremely grateful that this pregnancy didn’t bring the usual first trimester evening sickness. Being extra tired put a lot of things on hold for a bit, but I am a lot kinder to myself this pregnancy – not putting too much pressure on myself to be productive. Getting out of stretch pants is a challenge though – especially when nothing fits anymore! I thought I would share a few things that have made me feel comfortable and happy wearing. A pregnancy style spring capsule of sorts.
This yellow sunny sweater dress sold out so fast unfortunately, but I found a similar one in a beautiful blue sky color!
Striped button down // jeans // sneakers // handbag // sunglasses // earrings
I love the sizing and fit of this linen striped button down. (Wearing a small.) The jeans are non maternity so I have been wearing a belly band over them. After trying several pairs, I finally found a pair of maternity jeans I love!
I wore this Sweater lounge set every week in the past few months! Super comfortable for around the house, but makes you feel a little more put together than yoga pants. True to size. Tip: Wash on gentle cycle and hang dry to avoid piling.
Dress // Espadrilles
Thank you old navy for affordable and comfortable dresses! This one is non maternity and a snug fit so would work well for first and second trimester. They have a sleeveless version for summer as well. (I’m 5’5” and wearing a small)
Half zip pullover // butterluxe leggings // sneakers // exercise mat
It’s been grey skies for days it seems, so I am embracing all the color. These are some of the best stretch pants I have tried with a soft stretchy waist that doesn’t constrict. I love the side pockets as well. Lots of color options available! The pullover is not maternity, but also nice and stretchy.
one shoulder ribbed tank // pullover pants // Espadrilles // sunglasses
I bought these pants last summer – lightweight and comfortable, and I love how you can dress them up or down. I was happy they work well with a growing bump too! Lots of colors available. I am wearing a size small, but they fit best after washing/shrinking. The one shoulder ribbed tank is so versatile and great quality!
one shoulder ribbed tank // pullover pants // handbag // sunglasses
The sleeveless tank will have to wait for warmer temps, but I am wearing the pants all spring and summer! These sunnies are so fun, and you can’t beat $7 a pair. An easy way to avoid the guilt if you lose your sunglasses frequently. (Ahem- me.)
I may just be living in the same three maxi dresses and oversized t-shirts this summer when my baby reaches watermelon status.
