After customizing the IKEA Pax wardrobe, this project felt quick and easy! It required just a few wallpaper cuts and swapping the knobs to give the daybed more custom look that paired with the pax wardrobes.

We have been working on the girls shared bedroom over the past year, and since it is technically a “bonus room”, it doesn’t have any closet space. We needed to come up with a solution to create some clothing storage for 3 sisters within a reasonable budget. Our options were wardrobes, dressers, or a built in closet. After debating best use of space, we decided to go for IKEA Pax wardrobes. They are tall, customizable, and VERY spacious. Today we are sharing the step by step of the customization process as well as the total cost.
We visited Nashville many summers growing up, but now that we live here it’s easy to settle into our local neighborhood area. We worked on a family friendly Nashville summer bucket list that includes a mix of things we have enjoyed with our family, and things we hope to check out over the next few years!
