It’s finally time to show you the end result of what started as a blank slate spotted with many green paint samples. We have been going about our home renovation one room at a time, so for the past few years this guest room just had a bed! I was so excited to work on a space from scratch as that usually isn’t the case. However, I started at 9 months pregnant making one too many trips to the paint store before admitting I would need some help with this one. We partnered with Modsy to help design this space, and was so happy to have a fresh perspective on it. Today we are sharing the before, during, and after photos that brought this space to life!

We finally wrapped our last deadline before this little one’s due date and it makes me so happy to look at the long weekend ahead and know I can actually rest! Today we are celebrating Azelie’s 3rd birthday which is hard for me to believe! She has been such a spunky and sweet burst of light, and I can’t wait to see her become a big sister. I wanted to address the topic of renovations in our home, and where we stand with a big what-if on the line…

I had Tara Carter come and shoot some updated photos of the boys’ room…and shockingly got it lego free for a few brief hours! Over the last year I have kept my eye out for vintage pieces and organization solutions for my boys’ room to tie it all together. It’s one of my favorite things about finishing a space….finding the things that will make the room more personal to the people who will use it the most.
